A huge crowd filled the Carrick Swan Juvenile Hall recently as Under 5, Under 7, Under 8 and Under 9 children received their end of year medals.

It was with great pride that their families watched as each young player was called up to receive their medal and applauded.

Senior captain Dean Waters presented the medals to the juvenile players of the club and the South Senior Hurling Cup took pride of place on the main table alongside the Under 9 Shield - which was won by the Carrick Swan senior hurling and U9 teams this year.

Seán McDonnell, Club Treasurer, and the juvenile team coaches all attended this special event to mark the end of a terrific season for the club.

The Swan Club thanks all who helped out on the night and attended the event.
