Concern expressed for pedestrian safety at level crossing in Tipperary

Concern about the railway crossing was expressed by Cllr Michael Murphy

The railway crossing at the bottom of the Heywood Road in Clonmel should be examined with a view to improving pedestrian safety at this dangerous location, Cllr Michael Murphy stated at a meeting of Clonmel Borough District.

In his report to the meeting, District Engineer Roger Noonan said he would assess this narrow railway crossing at Heywood Road and would provide a further update at a future meeting.
