Death of child in Larne ‘not being treated as suspicious’ – police

The death of a child in Larne last week is not being treated as suspicious, police have said.

Emergency services attended a property in the Antiville area of the town on Thursday, and a child was taken to hospital where they later died.

On Monday, it was indicated that a post-mortem examination had been completed and the death is not being treated as suspicious.

A police spokesperson said: “The thoughts of the police service are with the family at this difficult time.”
