A suspect has been arrested after a man sustained serious facial injuries in an assault in Lisburn.
The 24-year-old man was attacked after an argument broke out outside a licensed premises in the Queensway area at around 1am on Saturday.
Police said a man assaulted the victim with a glass item.
Officers said he remained in a stable condition in hospital on Sunday.
The man arrested is aged 21 and he has been detained on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence.
