Three taken to hospital following crash in Co Antrim

Three people have been taken to hospital following a road crash in Co Antrim.

Two vehicles were involved in the incident in the Lambeg area of Lisburn on Sunday.

A spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) said they received a 999 call on Sunday.

The spokesperson said: “NIAS despatched a rapid response paramedic, an advanced paramedic and three emergency crews to the incident.

“Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, three patients were taken to the Royal Victorial Hospital.”

Police said the Lambeg Road had been closed in both directions following the crash.
