A woman who died in a car crash in the Glarryford area of Co Antrim has been named.
Beatrice Higgins, 81, from Ballycastle, was killed in the incident in the Killagan Road area shortly after 2pm on Sunday.
One other vehicle was involved in the crash.
Inspector Cherith Adair, of the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Collision Investigation Unit, said the pensioner died at the scene.
She added: “Inquiries are continuing and we appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have dashcam footage which could assist our investigation, to contact the Collision Investigation Unit on 101, quoting reference number 750 of September 28.”
