A man is due to appear in court on Wednesday following an assault in Armagh.
The 34-year-old is charged with two counts of common assault, non-fatal strangulation or asphyxiation, criminal damage and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.
He has also been charged with disorderly behaviour, resisting police, and burglary with intent to commit grievous bodily harm.
The charges come as police investigate the report of assault and criminal damage at a house in the Brookhill Crescent area of Armagh.
The man is due to appear before Newry Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday morning.
As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
