A controlled explosion has been carried out on a suspected Second World War bomb in Coleraine.
Police said the device was found in the vicinity of Laurel Hill Road shortly after 9.45am on Wednesday.

“Ammunition Technical Officers were tasked and have carried out a controlled explosion,” they said.
“No homes were evacuated during the incident.”
