A man has been arrested following an arson attack at an apartment building in west Belfast.
The fire on the Stewartstown road was reported to police just before 5.00pm on Tuesday evening.
A police spokesperson said officers attended alongside colleagues from Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, who extinguished the blaze.
A number of residents had to be evacuated due to the poor air quality following the fire, and remain out of their homes.

No other injuries were reported.
