Kilcormac-Killoughey earmarked Cillian Kiely for a new role in 2021, playing him at wing forward and asking him to hold his position. He was tightly marked by every team he played but still produced some outstanding displays and was a major factor in K-K going very close to reaching the final. St Rynagh's Stephen Quirke was a serious consideration as his scores and passing were instrumental in their success.
