Carroll's announce end of sponsorship of Offaly GAA with 'heavy heart'

Carroll's of Tullamore has officially announced an end to its 30-year sponsorship of Offaly GAA.

Carroll's has been emblazoned on the front of the Offaly GAA shirt since 1991, gracing the steps of the Hogan Stand on All-Ireland final day on numerous occasions, including last year with the U20 footballers.

The iconic sponsor is one of the sport's longest-serving and in a statement, they said: "It is with a heavy heart we mark the end of our 30-year sponsorship of Offaly GAA. Dating back to 1991, Carroll’s is recognised as one of the longest-running jersey sponsorships in the GAA. It has been a great source of pride to support and share in the successes as well as the challenges of the Faithful County.

"To commemorate this historic partnership and celebrate what has been achieved through the years, we have one final chance for you to own your very own piece of GAA history with the very last edition of Offaly GAA Jersey as sponsored by Carroll’s of Tullamore.

They are running a competition on their Facebook page HERE.

"We extend our very best wishes to Offaly GAA, all its clubs, players and its loyal and faithful supporters for the future," they added.

Glenisk was recently announced as the new main sponsor of Offaly GAA.
