Offaly make changes for Dublin O'Byrne Cup clash

OFFALY senior footballers have made a few changes for their O'Byrne Cup clash against Dublin in Parnell Park on Wednesday evening.

Ian Duffy will start in goals instead of Corey White, Cian Donohue comes into defence instead of Rory Egan while there is a new half forward line of Shane O'Toole-Greene, Ruari McNamee and Luke Egan – they replace Bill Carroll, Cian Farrell and Jack Bryant.

Some of the younger players are tied up with Sigerson Cup action but Offaly are still fielding a reasonably strong team. The introduction of Ruari McNamee certainly won't weaken things and he leads the attack from centre half forward.

Ruari O'Neill, Diarmuid Egan, Mark Abbott, Cian Johnson an Morgan Tynan have been added to the subs.

Offaly beat Wicklow on Saturday and it will be interesting to see how they fare against what will be an experimental Dublin with a knockout place on offer for the winners.
