THERE were some super performances again in the Leinster schools swimming for Gael Scoil Eiscir Riada, Tullamore with 3 medals being brought back to the school in the individual events.
Isabel Mooney won 2 golds ( Butterfly and Individual Medley) and a silver in freestyle - the Individual Medley result also saw Isabel break her swim club's (Athlone) record which had been unbeaten for over a decade.
Grace Connolly also put in a fine performance in the backstroke for the school. The school also claimed silver in the 11 & 12 year old Medley relay & Bronze in the freestyle relay with Grace Connolly, Adelyn Walsh, Ailbhe Coll and Isabel Mooney along with Charlie Larkin as sub, putting in gutsy performances to get places on the podium.
Aoibheann Mannion also proudly represented Durrow NS and with 2 great pbs achieving national schools qualification times.
The Offaly medal toll was added to by Mark Horodetsky for Tullamore Educate Together NS, with Mark taking home 4 silver medals in the Free, Breast, Fly and Back stroke.
