The boys from St Brendan's PS at the Peace Proms 2023.
St Brendan’s PS Birr were once again delighted to be part of the Peace Proms concert with the Cross Border Orchestra.
Concerts were staged across various venues both North and South and the school choir attended the concert at UL last Saturday January 28th.
Ms Pilkington has been working with the school choir for the past few months going through the songs and dance moves and all that hard work came to fruition on Saturday with an amazing concert.
The Peace Proms Choir was once again conducted and led by the charismatic and energetic conductor Mr Greg Beardsell. The 25 boys sang their hearts out and really enjoyed the orchestra pieces and the guest stars.
The group stopped off at Obama Plaza for a well-earned snack on the way home.
Huge thanks to Ms Pilkington, Ms Makim and Ms Guilfoyle who went with the boys on the day. The school has been attending the Peace Proms since 2014 and each year they can see the joy on the boys' faces and are delighted to be able to give them an experience that they will never forget. Thanks to Sharon and her team at CBOI for another amazing year of Peace Proms.
