It's a wrap from Tullamore DEW and Digans bar in Tullamore as filming comes to close on a major television and digital advert for the leading Irish whiskey brand.
Film crews descended on Tullamore's William St last Monday to shoot scenes for the advert in Clarke's barbers and Digans bar.
They also travelled outside the town later in the week to film at Lough Boora Discovery Park and in countryside near Ballinagar before returning to Digans.
In a post on Facebook Digans following the end of filming said: “What a week of filming and still shots. Thank you to all involved, it was such a pleasure and honour for us here at Digans to have you all here this week. Give everyone of their DEW . . . just class.”
Tight secrecy surrounded the advert and the Tullamore Tribune was not allowed to take photographs when filming was in progress.
It is understood the advert will be screened on television and broadcast digitally around the globe later this year providing huge publicity to Tullamore and Offaly as tourist destinations.
