Cahal McDonald
An Offaly man is competing in the World Championships Clay Target shooting in South Africa.
Cahal McDonald from Belmont will take on some of the sharpest shooters in the world. He is the current British Open Champion.
The 49 year old farmer is a member of the Esker Shooting Club in Banagher.
The competition takes place in South Africa from today (Wednesday, March 29) to Friday, March 31.
