Offaly Hospice's Good Friday walk back after three year absence

Offaly Hospice's Good Friday remembrance walk is back on after a three year absene

Offaly Hospice Foundation is delighted to announce that their Good Friday Remembrance Walk is back this year and taking place at 12 noon on Friday, April 7 following an absence of three years.

The Remembrance Walk is an opportunity to meet and walk in memory of all those that we have loved and lost.

There will be a remembrance board along with our heart stickers for those who wish to write their own personal message or the names of their loved ones which they are especially remembering on the day.

The organisers are very fortunate to have Lloyd Town Park which is suitable for everyone to use as the walk route.  Offaly Hospice Foundation is most grateful to Offaly County Council for their co-operation and support.

Registration will start at 11am at the Offaly Hospice Charity Shop/ Office at Main St, Tullamore with the walk at 12 noon being led by chairperson Professor Humphrey O’Connor.

The Remembrance Walk distance will be three laps of Lloyd Town Park (or whatever you feel comfortable doing) finishing back at the Offaly Hospice Charity Shop/Office where light refreshments will be served. Thanks to John Leavy, Leavy’s Centra, Tullamore.
