Durrow GAA and Ballinamere/Durrow Ladies football club going to 'Oskars'

A major community effort is underway in Durrow and Ballinamere as excitement builds ahead of a major fundraiser which takes place in June.

Over seventy volunteers are currently busy rehearsing ahead of a unique night of fun and entertainment when the Oskars event will unveil the films produced by the various groups that have come together.

It is a joint fundraiser between Durrow GAA Club and Ballinamere/Durrow Ladies Football Club. The event takes place on Saturday, June 10 in the Tullamore Court Hotel with ticket price at €30 and tickets will shortly be going on sale.

This will be an event for all of the community to support and the committee has started to put together a special Programme for the night with adverts now on sale for any business or individual that wishes to support the event.

There is still time to get involved in the event and you can contact Paul Fox or Dermot Cunningham for more details. A dedicated Facebook page has been set up and the progress of the various groups can be viewed in the run up to the big night. It promises to be a very special occasion and all support for this major fundraiser will be greatly appreciated
