Offaly player named on GAA Hurling Team of the Week
An Offaly player has been named on the GAA Hurling Team of the Week.
Offaly captain Jason Sampson was selected at corner back on the team.
Sampson played a captain's part in Offaly's win over Kerry which secured Offaly's place in the Joe McDonagh Cup Final with a game to spare.
Offaly face Carlow in their last group game this weekend. If Carlow win, the sides will meet again in the final and if Offaly win, they will face the winners of the game between Laois and Kerry in the final.
