Offaly's Tiernan receives massive boost ahead of Kilimanjaro climb

TULLAMORE native Tiernan Bassett has almost reached his target for his trek up  Kilimanjaro on August 25 in support of Meningitis & Septicemia Research.

He received a massive boost from his former secondary school Colaiste Choilm in Tullamore who presented him with a cheque for €1000 recently.

Tiernan wishes to thank everyone who has supported him to date.

He is thankful & overwhelmed by the amount of support he is receiving.
