Family make donation of training eqipment to an Offaly GAA club

Pictured with training gear that was donated to Kinnitty GAA Club by the Deegan family are John Joe Hartnett, Mary Deegan, John Dooley and Peter Delaney.

MARY Deegan and her family kindly donated training equipment to the Kinnitty GAA underage hurling and football teams in memory of her late husband Rodge who passed away in November.

Rodge was a devoted GAA man and played hurling and football for Kinnitty and was heavily involved with the GAA throughout his lifetime. Mary and her family felt it was a fitting tribute to give something to the club in memory of Rodge, especially after all the kindness that was shown to them when he sadly passed away.

Club officials John Joe Hartnett and Peter Delaney along with minor board chairman John Dooley paid glowing tributes to Rodge and thanked the Deegan family for their kind donation.
