THE Thurles Men’s Shed have taken part in a project organised by Tipperary County Council and Cllr Michael O’Meara to provide boxes for barn owls.
“This is a project I have been involved with, conservation of the endangered and beautiful barn owl. Tipperary County Council environmental department and in particular Fiona Flynn, have been very supportive of it and at present we have twelve boxes up in locations throughout North Tipperary “ says Cllr O’Meara.
