WATCH: Offaly man's hilarious reaction to 'jaysus huge spider' in kitchen

An Offaly TikTok star living in Australia had a hilarious - and terrifying - brush with a huge spider in his kitchen earlier this week.

Shane Gallagher, better known as the Digger Dad on TikTok, shared a video of his reaction to the unwanted home invader crawling across his kitchen presses.

The video has now amassed 140,000 views. Shane has over 180,000 followers on the platform. He mostly shares videos from his digger where he sometimes sings and performs skits.

He had a very Irish reaction to the spider as he told his son to "get away from that thing, look at the size of it."

"You're mad in the head," he added as he called his wife to come get rid of it because "she's Australian."

Calling to his wife, he proclaimed in a very Irish way that "there is a Jaysus huge spider in this kitchen, will you get rid of him!?"

He adds: "I'll fight any man that comes in here, but if that thing goes at you, you're on your own."

Shane later said: "Only for you, we would have set fire to this house."

According to his wife, it was a "tiny spider" but we're not so sure about that.
