Country music stars gather in Offaly this week to pay tribute to Louise Morrissey

The biggest stars of country music will gather together on Thursday, October 26 at the Tullamore Court Hotel to celebrate with the legendary country singer Louise Morrissey, The event will mark the 35th anniversary of a hugely successful career in country music in what’s sure to be the concert of the year.

This multi-award winning artist, who hails from Bansha in County Tipperary, is admired and respected as one of Ireland's greatest female singers and performers.

Throughout her career she has toured with such American country legends such as Charley Pride, Emmy-Lou Harris, Willie Nelson and Kris Kristofferson.
Louise’s collection of hits are endless, spanning a career of 35 rewarding years – Slievenamon, Tipperary On My Mind, Flying Home To Aherlow, The Tear, The Cottage in the Country, September Sky, Circles, Come Down from the Mountain Katie Daly, All around my Hat and Islands in the Stream and many more favourites.
Louise’s great friend and very popular performer, Dominic Kirwin is sure to entertain with some of his hugely popular hits such as Noreen Bawn, The Answer to Everything and Try A Little Kindness to mention but a few.

Mick Flavin, the much loved gentle giant of country music will sing from his huge repertoire of hits such as The Old School Yard, Wildflowers and Home to Donegal.

Hugely popular Westport singer Stuart Moyles is sure to get feet tapping with his numerous successful hit songs such as Westport Town and Streets of Galway and Little Bit of Livin.

The Offaly Rover and true country legend John Hogan will delight the audience with his exciting selection from his vast repertoire of hits such as Still Got a Crush on You, Rollin’Home, Those Brown Eyes, Morning Sun and Memories.

The audience can take a stroll down memory lane with the wonderful vocalist Dave Lawlor and his many hit songs, The Kingdom I call Home, Carmen and 57 Chevrolet.

Great country singer Marty Daniels will get those hands clapping with all the great classics from Hank Williams and Buck Owens such as Good Hearted Woman, You Win Again and Stop The World.
