13 – Right corner forward: Anton Sullivan (Rhode)
A real tough call between Rhode's Anton Sullivan and Ferbane's Darragh Flynn. There is merit in going for Flynn as he was instrumental in Ferbane getting to the final, emerging as their main scoring threat in the attack. In the final, he had an off day, getting no change out of the Tullamore defence, failing to score and being replaced after 47 minutes. It is harsh to penalise him for what was a collective malfunction but the quality of Anton Sullivan's displays make the final decision.

Sullivan is now entering into the Winter of his career, certainly at county level whatever about club, but he was excellent in the Rhode attack. He almost propelled them back into the final, scoring five points against Ferbane, and a couple of them as audacious as they come. He was man of the match against Shamrocks, scoring 2-1 and his movement and energy created havoc for opposing defences.
