5 – Right half back: Nigel Bracken (Tullamore)
Nigel Bracken performed very well in the Tullamore defence. Another very consistent performer, he kicked three points in the first round win over Ferbane and got a goal in the run away win over Clara.
Lee Pearson was a contender. He was a small bit off the boil this year but still showed his quality in the club campaign. He was one of the players who really drove Edenderry on when they were in a difficult situation in the quarter-final against Durrow. Daire McDaid had a brilliant final for Tullamore but missed a lot of the earlier games.
