This exhibition, entitled Lámha Beo, was photographed by Georgina Chambers and Robert Revill, members of Birr Photography Group, and consists of portraits of 12 local people with additional photographs of them in action.

This talented group include no less than three All Ireland champions and a gold medallist at the Chelsea Flower Show! On view are Aubrey Claffey - sculptor, Ute Duggan - artist, Celine Guinan - camogie player, Mary Hanrahan - brown bread maker, Richard Haslam - florist and gardener, William Holmes - musician, Pamela Kennedy - hair stylist, Sean Lambe - vintage tractor enthusiast, Barry Noyce - basket weaver, Mary O’ Brien - knitter, Sakie O’ Brien - loy digger and Michael O’Meara - bee-keeper.

A great night was had by all at the launch with music by Reuben and Jacob Noyce, Denis Duffy and Tom Holmes.

The exhibition, funded by the Heritage Council through Tipperary County Council, will remain in Kelly’s R42FN36 in the coming weeks and all are welcome. There is a memento booklet and donations can be made to Enable Ireland.
