Local students enjoyed busy few days at the BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition

CISTERCIAN College students, who were finalists in this year's BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition, had an action packed week at the event. Two groups from the College were delighted to be chosen to head along to this year's exhibition to display their projects.

The first group chosen were students Dan O'Brien and Quan Morgan O'Brien with their project "A new form of water safety" and the second group were students Lukis DeCleir, Cian Daly, Fionn Hogan and Harry Finlay with their project, "Does soil type, location and typography impact the quality of malting barley?"

The students had a thoroughly enjoyable few days and were delighted to meet plenty of familiar faces including Michael Lowry, Norma Foley, Jackie Cahill, Mattie McGrath and more.
