WATCH: UK star with Offaly roots shares stunning version of the Fields of Athenry
A UK singing star with deep Offaly roots has shared a spine-tingling version of the Fields of Athenry to mark St Patrick's Day.
Tom Grennan, who recently had a hit with A Little Bit of Love, shared the clip with his social media followers on St Patrick's Day.
Tom, whose father Martin is from Ballycumber, wore an Offaly GAA jersey for the performance. He is proud of his Offaly connection and also has an Offaly tattoo '95-OY' combining the year of his birth with the Offaly car registration.
Tom, who grew up in Bedford in England, spent many summers back in Ballycumber with his cousins. We're claiming him for sure after this mesmerising performance.
