A second Offaly U20s star has launched an appeal to find his helmet after it went missing during Offaly's U20 All-Ireland hurling final celebrations last week.

Ben Miller was a rock at full-back on the winning Faithful team and he is keen to catch up with his now All-Ireland-winning helmet.

He took to social media on Friday to launch and appeal. He said: "Did any one picking up my black gola helmet after the match last week in Nowlan Park? It was left down when we were getting the cup and was not there when I returned. Could do with it back," he said.

The appeal comes just days after Ben's teammate Caelum Larkin was reunited with his helmet after a social media call out from his mother.

The sentimental helmet was tracked down and it's hoped Ben's helmet will also be found.

Perhaps an eager young fan took the opportunity to grab a momento of that glorious win or it was picked up by mistake?

You can contact news@offalyexpress.ie if you know where it is or you can head to Ben's Facebook page where he has posted his appeal.
