Offaly pub with 'Best Pint of Guinness' holding party this weekend to celebrate
The Offaly pub that voted as having the 'Best Pint of Guinness' in the county is holding a party this weekend to celebrate the achievement.
After receiving 26% of the votes in recent Offaly Express public poll, The High Chaparal in Geashill was been chosen by our readers as the pub serving the finest pint of the black stuff in Offaly.
Special guest on the night will be Offaly legend Matt Connor and a special plaque will be unveiled marking the pub winning the special award.
Not only does the popular pub have the best pint of Guinness in the county, it also might have the cheapest as the pub kept the price at €5 despite a recent price increase from their suppliers.
