Gardai stand down search for teenager missing in the Midlands
Gardai have stood down the search for a teenager missing in the Midlands after he was found safe and well.
On Saturday, gardai issued an appeal for information on 17-year-old Lorcan Meehan who was reported missing from Portlaoise,
Gardaí and Lorcan’s family were said to be concerned for his wellbeing.
In an update this morning, gardai said he had been located safe and well.
Gardai thanked the public and media for their assistance.
