Retirements/Long term injuries – The very influential, Ruari O'Neill is managing an arthritis injury, limiting his game time; Sean Foran recently had a cruciate injury and is awaiting surgery; Eddie Bennett has emigrated to Canada;

Last year – Beaten by Ballycommon in the final;

Star player – Keith O'Neill;

Prospects – Clonbullogue are one of the most exciting teams in Offaly football and play with a lot of flair. They have huge pace as well as some of the steel that is needed. They have lost big games in recent years and that raises questions but they have a great chance of getting over the line. On their day, they are very good but they can be inconsistent at times. They won't be far away and are second favourites behind Clara – returning to the final is their big initial target, though there are plenty of banana skins on the way.
