Three apartments in same block in Offaly sell for way above estimate at auction
Three apartments in the same block in Offaly have sold for way above estimate at an online auction after three bidding battles.
Three apartments at Granary Court in Edenderry went up for auction on Thursday and each sold for well above the estimates.
The highest price came for a two bedroom apartment at The Beech, Granary Court. Bidding opened at €105,000 but it took off with three bidders driving up the price. After an hour, it eventually sold for €136,000.
The second highest price was for another two bedroom apartment also at The Beech, Granary Court. This time bidding started at €105,000 before it eventually sold for €130,000.
The third apartment, a one bedroom apartment at The Cherry, Granary Court also sold on Thursday. Bidding opened at €85,000 with three bidders driving up the price before it sold for €99,000.
