Roscrea Coláiste Phobal's incredibly talented 6th Year student, Dayna Quinlan, recently won the National Award of Excellence in Music

This accolade is awarded by Leinster School of Music, Griffith College, Dublin, and is highly sought after annually by music exam students from all over the country, making it very competitive as nominees are selected by rigorous rounds of adjudication by LSM adjudicators.

The overall winner is then selected from all the exam student nominees who participate in all types of music and performance exams throughout Ireland.

Dayna will now travel to Griffith College Dublin to receive the award and perform at the award ceremony.

"We are hugely proud of Dayna who has a long and accomplished history of performance both outside school and here in Coláiste. Well done Dayna- we look forward to more accolades coming your way in the future", Coláiste Phobal said.
