Met Éireann's weather forecast for Ireland for the coming week predicts that temperatures are set to rise
Sunday: Sunday morning will be cloudy in Munster and Leinster with outbreaks of rain and drizzle.
These will gradually clear to the southeast during the afternoon. Drier, sunnier weather over Connacht and Ulster will extend to all areas as the rain clears.
Highest temperatures 15 to 18 degrees with light to moderate westerly winds.
Overview: Turning warm and largely dry with sunshine increasing day-on-day as high pressure builds over the country.
Sunday night: Dry and largely clear at first on Sunday night, though it will turn cloudier towards morning with the chance of isolated showers. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees in a light variable breeze.
Monday: Generally dry with sunny spells developing and just isolated showers. Feeling warmer with highest temperatures of 17 to 21 degrees in a light to moderate southeasterly breeze.
Monday night: Rather cloudy with occasional clear spells. Staying dry for most apart from the odd light shower drifting up from the south. Lowest temperatures of 10 to 14 degrees in light southerly winds.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy to start with a few showers. It will turn dry with plenty of sunshine during the afternoon. Highest temperatures of 17 to 21 degrees in light to moderate southerly winds.
Wednesday: Warm, dry and largely sunny. Highest temperatures of 17 to 20 degrees in a light easterly breeze.
Further outlook: Current indications suggest it will be warm and largely dry with good sunshine to end the week.
