Tullamore Rugby Club have launched ambitious and major redevelopment plans. The plans were unveiled this week and see their home grounds at Spollanstown expand to include four full size rugby pitches and a 1.5km community walkway. The development will aim to have these new pitches in use as early as the beginning of next season.

The club was recently approved for a €148,041 Government grant for upgrading their facilities and this will help pay for the developments. They acquired additional land some time ago to enable the new pitches and this is crucial as they now cater for a growing womens' section in addition to their mens' team.

Along with their ambitious development plans, Tullamore Rugby Club have launched their members fundraising and sponsorship campaign. Aiming to raise €1 million over the next three years, the club are targeting all work to be complete by their 90th anniversary in 2027.  If you are interested in finding out any more information, visit the Tullamore RFC social media platforms.

Tullamore Rugby Club is going from strength to strength. They have adult men's and women's teams, boys and girls youth teams and The Tigers - their disability team. Now they are working to ensure they have the rugby campus to facilitate the ever-increasing 500+ club members.
