Bollards removed from cycle lane in Offaly

Offaly County Council has removed the bollards which were causing inconveniences to local residents in Edenderry.

Local Councillor Cribbin welcomes the removal of bollards from cycle lane at Killane

Councillor Noel Cribbon has welcomed the removal of bollards from the cycle lane at Killane in Edenderry. 

Cllr Cribbin commented on the long awaited removal of the bollards, saying: "I  looked for an undertaking at our last MD meeting that these Bollards be taken down as they just did not work, are very unsightly and a serious inconvenience to the residents in that area."

The local councillor added: "I'm glad to see my requests have been carried out and I thank local engineer Enda for his understanding in this issue which was causing distress to many residents."
