Former pupil brings ladies football trophies back to her old school

Pupils in Cloghan school were delighted that former pupil Annie Mulhare brought the U-14 LGFA Leinster cup and U-14 All Ireland LGFA cups to the school so they could get their hands on the silverware.

ANNIE Mulhare, a past pupil of Cloghan National School, came back to visit the school last week and she brought the U-14 LGFA Leinster Cup and the U-14 All Ireland LGFA Cup to show the pupils.

She talked to the children about her training and achievements, explaining that it’s tough and hard work with matches and training. She explained that you have to work hard, be a team player and keep trying, even when it’s very difficult. Annie is an inspiration to the pupils. She wished the girls team the best of luck in the Cumann na mBunscoil final in Birr.
