ALERT: Met Eireann issues Snow Warning for several counties with strong winds also on the way
Met Eireann has issued a Snow and Ice Warning for several counties with strong winds also on the way for Ireland.
Met Eireann has issued a Yellow Snow and Ice Warning for Cavan, Donegal, Monaghan, Leitrim and Louth.
Met Eireann is warning that wintry showers of hail, sleet and snow are possible tonight and for a time Sunday morning. The warning is in place from 10pm on Saturday until 9am on Sunday.
There is also a Status Yellow Wind warning for Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo with Met Éireann Warning that there will be sustained strong and gusty westerly winds veering northwesterly coupled with large coastal waves with winds peaking on Saturday night into Sunday morning. The warning is in place until 2pm on Sunday.
There is also another Status Yellow Wind warning for Clare, Kerry and Limerick. The warning is in place from 3pm on Saturday until 3pm on Sunday
