Members of the Roscrea Trail Blazers on their recent Mountain Rescue challenge hike across the Dublin Mountains
Last Thursday our club members hiked the Kinnity/Glinsk Castle Loop in the Slieve Blooms. A perfect night for walking with clear skies and a calm evening for the group to enjoy. Well done to everyone that made the effort.
We have a packed 2025 ahead with several trips overseas and a lot of challenge walks over the coming months. Our walk this Thursday night the 27th sees the club heading back to the Lough Boora Loop. Distance 9km, Grade Easy/Moderate, Time 2 hours.
Meeting at The Lough Boora Carpark at 7.30, please bring Hi Viz Jacket and Head/hand torch.
We would encourage anyone thinking of taking up hiking for better health or as a way to destress to please make contact with the number below.
