Roscrea painted the town yellow on Friday last and a massive €14,650 was raised for the Irish Cancer Society on daffodil day.

The people of Roscrea and the surrounding areas are as always so supportive and generous to this vital cause.

The Irish Cancer Society brings hope, provides support and drives progress in the battle against cancer in Ireland.
“Thank you so much to all our volunteers who sat at the tables throughout the day, daffodil day would not be possible without all of you.

“Thank you to everyone who donated fresh daffodils for the day, this year again we were delighted to be allowed to harvest full gardens of beautiful daffodils for the day.

“Thank you all so much”, the Roscrea fundraising team said.
