Man caught driving without insurance in Tullamore given fine and two year ban
A man was put off the road for two years at a recent sitting of Tullamore District Court.
Davit Lavrelashvli (40) with an address at the Marian Hostel, High Street, Tullamore had no previous convictions, the court heard.
In evidence, the court heard that Garda Ann Cullinan was on patrol on the Arden Road, in Tullamore on February 2, 2024 when she stopped a vehicle driven by Mr Lavrelashvli who was driving without insurance and he failed to produce it at the garda station.
Judge Andrew Cody imposed a fine of €750 and disqualified him from driving for two years.
He took the failure to produce the insurance into consideration.
