Man disqualified for driving with no insurance and fake licence in Tullamore
A man was disqualified for two years when he appeared at last week's Tullamore District Court.
Haildo Antunes Pereira (40) of Apt 4, Rose House, Marian Place, Tullamore, pleaded guilty to the offences which took place on April 5, 2024.
Garda Jason Harte stopped Mr Pereira, who was driving a black Ford Focus on Main Street, Tullamore. He had no insurance. A fixed charge penalty notice was issued. He had a fake licence on the date in question.
Judge Andrew Cody fined Mr Pereira who works in a meat factory, €700 for driving without insurance, €250 for driving with a fake licence and disqualified him from driving for two years.
Legal aid was granted.
