Shane Lowry in fifth after excellent second round at The Masters in Augusta
Shane Lowry goes into the weekend at The Master in Augusta in a tie for fifth after an excellent second round at the famous course in Georgia.
Shane backed up his one under par opening round on Thursday with a four under par 68 on Friday to move him up six places into a tie for fifth.
He is only three shots off the lead held by Justin Rose who sits on eight under par with Bryson Dechambeau in second on seven under par. Rory McIlroy and Corey Connors are in a tie for third on six under par.
Shane will be on course at 7.20pm Irish time today alongside Matt McCarty.
