Offaly County Council approves 124 new homes in Offaly including build-to-rent apartments
Two large developments in Offaly, including one with build-to-rent apartments, have been given the green light by Offaly County Council.
Both developments are located in the Townparks and Seffin area of Birr and will total 124 residential units once completed
One development will see the construction of 66 residential units comprising of 20 houses of varying sizes and 46 build-to-rent apartments. The apartments will be in four separate three-storey blocks, comprising of 20 one-bedroom ground floor apartments with 20 two-bedroom first floor duplex apartments in three blocks and two one-bedroom apartments with four one-bedroom apartments in one block. It will also see the construction of section of new distributor road, pathways and cycle track.
Offaly County Council granted permission for this development with 29 conditions attached.
The second development granted permission will see the construction of 58 houses that will be a mix of two, three and four bedroom homes. They will also be a mixed of terraced, semi-detached and terraced. It will also see the construction of section of new distributor road, pathways and cycle track.
Offaly County Council granted permission for this development with 26 conditions attached.
