Two roads in Offaly to close for road works today
Two roads in Offaly are to close for road works from today with detours in place.
Offaly County Council has announced that temporary road closures will be implemented on the roads.
The R400-5 from Mountlucas to Rhode will be closed between Wednesday, April 23 and Friday, April 25 from 7am to 6pm each day. Local Access arrangements will be in place. The detour in place will take vehicles through Edenderry.
Separately a temporary road closure will be in place at Garrymona, Walsh Island. It will remained closed until 6pm this evening, Wednesday, April 23.
A detour in place will take vehicles to Portarlington and past Derryounce Lakes and Walkways.
Offaly County Council says it regrets any inconvenience caused.
