Met Éireann predicts major weather shift for Ireland with highs of 20°C next week

Met Eireann is forecasting a return of warmer and sunnier weather next week in its latest Ireland weather forecast with high pressure set to see temperatures reach as high as 20 degrees by Tuesday. 

According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast for Ireland, after more mixed weather on Saturday, it will gradually become more settled and milder through the rest of the weekend, with plenty of dry and bright weather for early next week.

According to the latest weather forecast for Ireland from Met Eireann, the real change will come on Tuesday as current indications suggest that Tuesday will be a warm and sunny day. Highest temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees in light to moderate southeast winds.

Before that however we are in for more rain and temperatures in the low teens. 

According to the latest Met Eireann forecast, after a wet start to Friday, the rain will slowly become confined to Leinster and Ulster through the day. Sunny spells and heavy showers will follow into Connacht and Munster, with potential for isolated thunderstorms and spot flooding. Highest temperatures of 11 to 16 degrees, warmest in Connacht and Munster in light to moderate southerly winds, fresher in the east.

Early tonight, any lingering rain in the east and northeast will clear and any showers will ease, leaving a mostly dry night with clear spells and isolated showers. Areas of mist and fog will develop in light southerly or variable winds. Lowest temperatures of 3 to 8 degrees.

According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast, mist and fog will slowly clear on Saturday morning but may linger on some southern and eastern coasts through the day. Otherwise, it will be a bright day with spells of sunshine and just the odd light shower. Turning cloudier in the west and northwest later in the afternoon with patchy rain developing. Mild with highest temperatures of 13 to 17 degrees in light to moderate southwest winds, fresher on western coasts.

Becoming cloudy overnight on Saturday with outbreaks of rain across the southwest, west and north. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees in moderate to fresh southerly winds.

According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast, any rain will clear on Sunday morning followed by sunny spells and well scattered showers. Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees, but feeling a little chillier in moderate to fresh southwest winds.

Sunday night will be largely dry with clear spells at first and isolated showers. Cloud will build from the west overnight. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees in moderate southerly winds

According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast, after a rather cloudy start, it will brighten up through Monday with hazy spells of sunshine developing. Dry for most but the odd light shower will occur. Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees with moderate southerly winds easing light later.

According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast, current indications suggest that Tuesday will be a warm and sunny day. Highest temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees in light to moderate southeast winds.
