'Together We Thrive' theme of event in Clara GAA centre this May 31

CLARA SHOW

The event takes place in Clara GAA Centre

Residents of Clara and surrounding areas are invited to come together in a celebration of community pride and collaboration at the upcoming Clara Community Showcase, taking place on Saturday, May 31, from 2pm to 5pm at the Clara GAA Centre.

Organised by St Vincent de Paul, Clara, in partnership with the Offaly Local Development Company and Offaly Volunteer Centre, the event aims to shine a spotlight on the vibrant range of local groups, services, and businesses that form the heartbeat of the community.

The showcase is a free event open to all ages, with refreshments provided and a raffle offering exciting prizes. Attendees will have the chance to explore stands, meet local group leaders and volunteers, and discover new ways to engage with the services and initiatives that support Clara.

“Together, we thrive” is the spirit of the day, reflecting the event’s emphasis on unity, community involvement, and mutual support. Whether you’re a long-time resident or new to the area, the showcase is an ideal opportunity to connect with the people and organisations making a difference in Clara. Organisers are encouraging everyone to come along and show their support as you never know who you might meet.
