Offaly musician to present new music and chat show series on TG4

Evie Denehan from Rhode will present the first episode

A new series of "Ar Bhruach na Sionainne", a music and chat show presented by students from the University of Limerick will begin on RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta in July.

The first programme will be presented by Evie Denehan who is from Rhode.

The seven part series showcases traditional music, performed and presented by the students themselves. In each programme, we’ll hear music and songs from a selection of students, and the programme will be presented by a new student each week.

The musicians in the first programme will include: Alex Gregg (whistle & fiddle), Sonny Cahill (flute), Jamie Troy (guitar & bodhrán), Robyn Wadsworth (fiddle), Alaina Majkrzak (banjo), Róisín Ní Ghallóglaigh (song), Andrea Brennan (concertina), Ciarán O’Connell (accordian), Simon Crehan (guitar).
